Michelle Burke

Michelle is the owner of Beacon Property Inspections and the Director of Marketing. Michelle grew up as a Navy Brat and finally settled in Virginia Beach in 1987. She attended Old Dominion University where she graduated with a Masters Degree in Special Education. She left her 17-year teaching career to grow her business into a multi-inspector firm. She enjoys developing relationships with agents and clients and strives to provide the best customer service possible. In her spare time, Michelle loves traveling, entertaining and spending time with her family.

John Burke

John has been doing home inspections for over 20 years. He first came to the area from New Jersey back in 2003. His family vacationed in the Outer Banks and that is how he became familiar with the area. After moving here, John started a home inspection business. He has completed thousands of inspections throughout the years. His attention to detail is what makes him so great. His hobbies include golfing, skiing and spending time with family.

Trevor Woody

Trevor began doing home inspections in 2015 after leaving the construction industry. He grew up in Hampton Roads, the son of a real estate agent. Trevor graduated Virginia Wesleyan College with a degree in History. He also served our community as an EMT for three years. Trevor has proven to be a thorough and attentive inspector. He shares his knowledge in a format that is easily understood and informative. Trevor is a lover of many outdoor activities including snowboarding and surfing.
